Velocity FC Announces an additional tryout for our 07/08 Girls Team Thursday June 20th at 6 pm at Gorham Sports Center
We are excited to share that Coach Rick Doyon will be coaching Velocity's 07/08 Girls' team for the 2024-25 season.
Coach Rick has led Velocity FC teams to championship since 2010. He holds a United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma and Professional Development Certificate for College Coaches as well as numerous other licenses and certifications.
Rick has been honored 4 times as Maine State Coach of the Year as well as selection by his peers in 2019 as Region 1 Coach of the year by United Soccer Coaches Associate. When he's not coaching Velocity teams, Coach Rick brings his soccer vision to North Yarmouth Academy where he has coached their Upper School Girls to 4 Maine State Championships.
